Is using a VPN illegal in Thailand?
No. Using a VPN in Thailand is legal — individuals and organisations use VPNs for privacy and security as a matter of course. A VPN does not, however, make already-illegal activity legal: you remain responsible for what you do over the connection.
Which protocols does TukTukVPN use, and why those?
We run VLESS+Reality, Hysteria2, and WireGuard/AmneziaWG, switching automatically. Each is strong at something different: WireGuard is fast and battery-friendly, Hysteria2 holds up on lossy or high-latency networks, and VLESS+Reality plus AmneziaWG focus on obfuscation to get through DPI on heavily filtered networks.
Can I stream and game over the VPN?
Yes. The app has both a streaming mode and a gaming mode. Connecting through a server in the region you need helps you reach geo-locked content, subject to the destination service's terms. For gaming we prioritise stability and sensible routing. We don't publish self-measured ping numbers, because they depend on your real network.
What does “no-logs” actually mean?
It means we keep no records of your usage activity (sites visited, source IP, connection times) in any form traceable back to you. TukTukVPN holds this policy strictly. To be direct: it is our stance, and it has not yet been audited by a third party — we won't claim more than that.
